The Rape of Delhi.

''Yahaan to darakhton ke saaye mein bhee dhoop lagtee hai.
chalo chalen kahin aur umra bhar ke liye.''
-(Dushyant kumar.)

The Gang rape in Delhi on 16th December night was a very disturbing news for all of us ,because in Delhi there was more than 500 cases registered u/s rape and molestation.

This is very shocking and disturbing criminal act. Police has registered the case, they are investigating, and some of the culprits have been arrested. But the hue and cry over the issue which has grapped the entire country and Parliament, will be there when the case will be in court ? I am in doubt. Neither the FB , nor us, nor the MPs, nor media are the competent authorty to punish the guilty, or hang them or whatever, but the court of law only. The court requres evidence. It never sees the public opinion, the media reporting or the debate in parliament or the status up dates of FB, but it sees only the evidences put up by prosecution and the witnesses. All of us are disturbed, and all of us are thinking that are we living in civilised society or in jungle ? We are using modern equipments, are wearing, modern and faishionable clothes, talking too much ethical, but our maind set has not changed according the time and age.
what happaned in Jesica lal case, what happaned in Upahar tragedy case, what happened in Bhopal gas case ? The fate of these cases are known to every one. In Jesica lal case, all witnesses become hostile. 'No one killed Jesica'. The criminal justice system of our country is collapsed. Really it is collapsed. No body is interested in Police and criminal justice reforms. All the parties, all political leaders are against the reforms of Police. But what are the real problems before the Police, no body wants to see.
And what about public apathy. It is very easy to light a candle at India gate and demand public hanging, of the criminals, but on giving evidences in court, most of them will become mum. A crime free society is not the sole responsibility of police, but it is everyone's baby.
In this case, hope justice will be done soon.

The time has come to think whether ,really the human right laws which prevent the capital punishment to be applied in " the rarest of rare" cases should be applicable in vulnerable cases like this..
I support the words made by Sushma Swaraj Ji on the floors of Lok Sabha, that those culprits should be given a capital punishment..
More than being a punishment in one case,it should spread as a warning message to all who thinks so.
Strict laws should be made and fast track courts should be set up for crimes like this, which is more than killing or assassinating some one.Torturing any body, mentally or physically is the greatest crime ,because if we kill some one he could get justice in heaven, but what for person who still needs to interfere with the public.
We should be proud of our culture which taught us to respect even outsiders. But what happening now is entirely different to what our forefathers had taught us to do..
This is heinous crime which needs punishment, not at the sense of this single incident but to the larger cause of Humanity..
Pledge your support and pray for the well-being of that 23 year old medical student..
